SOCS® Equine Coaching Certification
Master the art of presence.
Most equine coaching focuses on doing. Our Contemplative Conscious-Based Method shifts the focus to being.
Transformation doesn't happen through a script — it happens in the Internal Landscape shared between the horse, the coach, and the client.
The Four Core Pillars
Somatic Presence & Stillness
Regulate your own nervous system first. Enter 'Active Stillness' and create a safe container for both horse and client.
The Horse as Conscious Partner
Read subtle energetic shifts and micro-movements that reveal deep-seated patterns in a client's life.
Intuitive Inquiry
Use contemplative questioning to help clients discover their own truth — empowering lasting 'aha!' moments.
The Awakened Field of Resonance
Facilitate breakthroughs by observing how a horse responds to a client's internal congruence.

Honoring Equine Sovereignty
The horse as a sentient partner.
We honor the horse not as a passive participant, but as a sentient partner with its own agency, wisdom, and emotional landscape. Coaches learn to recognize consent, prioritize choice, and advocate for the horse's needs.
You graduate not just as a coach, but as an Equine Advocate — capable of facilitating deep human transformation while protecting the dignity and spirit of the horses you work alongside.
Enrollment
Prerequisites & Application
Relationship with the Horse
A minimum of two years in respectful, consent-based partnership with horses on the ground — and ongoing access to a horse whose dignity and agency you are committed to honoring throughout the program.
Personal Readiness
A contemplative practice — or the willingness to begin one — and the humility to meet each horse as a sentient teacher rather than a tool, holding space for their voice as carefully as for your clients'.
Format
A 30-day immersion — two in-person sessions on the farm with horses each week plus one virtual session each week — paced to protect the well-being of the horses, closing with a half-day immersion in Sagaponack, NY.

The certification was a turning point. I learned to lead others with a deep sense of purpose and power I didn't know I had.
